2009 AGREEMENT WITH NIPSCO

$1,200.00 Signing Bonus – payable on 2nd payday after ratification

 

                        Wage Increases

                        2010 – 2.75%

                        2011 – 2.75%

                        2012 – 3%

                        2013 – 3%

                        2014 – 3.5%

 

Life Insurance

 

Meal money increase to $11.00 – with receipt or not (Training Center $31.00/day)

Hourly meal money up to $3.00 (from $2.50)

Bonus and meal money to increase yearly at same percentage as wage increases

 

Vacation for employees hired on or after 06-01-04

 

Quarter days of vacation use returned, for up to two emergency days

 

Negotiated USW PPO Medical Plan

Vision and Dental reamin the same (Dental Plus subject to same premium increases)

Part-time and Temporary employees to participate in same PPO plan as RFT

Retirees to participate in PPO at current contribution levels – (15% or 23% depending on date of retirement)

Retain “Rule of 85” and all other retirement benefits

 

Funeral Leave

Addition of “Son-in-law” and “Daughter-in-law” for two regularly scheduled work days.

 

All employees payroll checks/payroll stubs will be sent by US mail to the employee’s home.

 

Two job classifications re-evaluated and upgraded

 

Union participation in new employee orientation
